Who We Are
South Florida Miniature Gamers (SMG) is a club dedicated to the art, strategy, and camaraderie of miniatures gaming. We gather at The War Room in Hollywood, FL — a purpose-built gaming venue with the table space and terrain to host any conflict, from ancient pike-and-shot to far-future sci-fi skirmishes.
Whether you paint your own armies, play straight out of the box, or just want to watch a game before you buy in, you are welcome at our table.
Players command armies of hand-painted miniature figures on detailed terrain boards. Rules govern movement, combat, and morale — history or fantasy come to life in three dimensions.
Historical wargames, fantasy battles, sci-fi skirmishes, naval games, and more. Popular systems include Bolt Action, Kings of War, Flames of War, and many others.
Our members love introducing newcomers. Come watch a game, ask questions, and discover which era or genre captures your imagination. No experience required.
